Hyndburn U3A was formed in May of 2015 and has over 120 members taking part in various group activities.

Members generally come from the towns and areas in Hyndburn - Accrington, Altham, Clayton-Le-Moors, Great Harwood, and Rishton.

We are part of a local consortium with Burnley, Clitheroe, Longridge and Todmorden. There is a reciprocal agreement where each of the u3as in the consortium welcome Members from all the listed u3as.

• Our full meetings take place on the 2nd Friday of each month. We meet at 2:00pm and generally have a guest speaker on a subject of general interest. After this we gather together for tea/coffee and biscuits and chat among ourselves!
• Membership form - The form includes details of the membership fee. Completed forms can be returned to the Membership Secretary at one of our meetings. Payment can be paid in cash or cheque.
• Monthly Newsletter - this contains a calendar of events for the current month, as well as news from each of the groups.
